Customizing Industrial Solar Power Solutions in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania

  1. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Hemal Patel: Lumina has been awesome at providing a great service overall from getting all the permit to replacing roof to installing our solar to PTO. They have been on point on everything. Christopher Richardson, the project coordinator has been a great help throughout the process and answering all the questions. It's been two months since we got our system online and looking at all the production makes me super happy cutting down the electricity costs. They also gave us a great deal in terms of warranty and services. I will definitely recommend Lumina Solar for your solar installations.
  2. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Matthew Cawthorne: I was really excited with the idea of getting a rooftop PV system, and Lumina had really good reviews. Their price was nearly identical to another very highly rated company in my area and I liked the look of the REC panels so we went with Lumina. During the initial sizing I proposed a symmetric configuration that was pleasing to the eye and was told 'we can discuss the exact configuration during the engineering phase'. Well, I was never contacted until all of the approvals were complete and at that point it was too late to get the configuration that I wanted. The Lumina configuration was unsymmetric and had 1 fewer panel on the highly productive south facing roof. It was not the end of the world, but I take pride in the aesthetics of my house. In the end I was able to get them to make it symmetric, but with the one less panel in the good orientation. The biggest problem, however is that the panels on the front of the house are in a nearly ideal orientation, facing almost south, and with a roof pitch that is good for this latitude. The 400+ watt panels are oriented well enough that they should be able to generate close to 400 watts during the middle of the day (cloud cover permitting). Lumina specified and installed 300 watt inverters so those panels never produce more than 300 watts. Instead of a sine wave for production I get a curve that is clipped flat on top. 300 watt inverters are ok for the back of the house where the sun angles are not as ideal and the panels cannot produce as much power, but not for the front. So why am I giving them 4 stars? Well, their Operations department that scheduled and performed the installation did a really good job and were a delight to work with. The workmanship is really good and everything has been functioning for the first 16 months of operation. There were no surprises in the pricing.
  3. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by William Robinson: Worked with Christopher, easy process, actual install and start up due to change in location from roof to ground mount. Works very well. System is performing as designed, and meeting our production needs.
  4. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Peter Miller: I highly recommend Lumina Solar. Our rep, Alex, was knowledgeable and easy to work with. He provided us relevant, specific information and financial numbers to make our decision easy. The install team was efficient and courteous. The whole process was low stress and went smoothly. So happy to have our array installed and taking advantage of these sunny days
  5. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Cass Bielski: Alison Sanders did a great job.
  6. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Rodney Nesmith: We investigated multiple solar providers. Lumina seemed like the best choice: knowledgeable staff, good value, designs that fit our needs. Now that our installation is done, we are extremely happy with it. The design was perfect for our home. And the construction was very well done. The Lumina staff were highly skilled, conscientious and courteous. They were done in two days, and the workmanship is excellent. Now, we enjoy using the Enlighten app to see how much electricity we are making. Not only does the app tell us how much electricity we are producing, we've found it useful in understanding and managing our electrical demand! We have several friends that are interested in solar energy, and we are encouraging them to consider Lumina. We are extremely happy with their work, and we think they would be too! December 2023 Update: We are now in our 7th consecutive month without having to buy a single KW of electricity from the grid! Also, two of our friends have used Lumina for their installations, and they've had the same experience. Excellent/knowledgeable sales staff, high quality installations, LOVE the Enlighten app for monitoring power production/use, and happy with the output from their systems!
  7. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Susan Hu Burdette: Lumina solar managed the entire project from start to finish. From selection of the best panels to meet our energy needs to beautiful installation to managing the tax credit documents, the process was efficient and professional. Our program manager, Chris Richardson, did an excellent job guiding us through the whole process. Also, when I had any questions, the response time of Chris and the whole Lumina team was impressive. I feel they are committed to helping us become more energy independent and save money as well. I highly recommend Lumina solar. One item to note, we needed a new roof installed as ours was very old. Lumina worked with an established roofing company to install a beautiful new roof. They did a great job as well!
  8. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by taxman: Great experience all around. Philip Jordan guided me through the process from start to finish. He explained everything at the start, answered all my questions, and got me set up. He kept in contact throughout the process and was very helpful. The office staff were quick to reply and answered my questions well. They handled the paperwork with speed and got everything moving faster than I expected. The inspection and installation teams were great. They worked quickly and did a great job. In fact, the state inspector told me that my rig was the only one all week that he approved, because other companies apparently don't know what they're doing. Overall, I have only good things to say about my experience. Would recommend.
  9. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Christopher Adams: Had a great experience with lumina. They were professional and informative from the start. Ask for Jack. Answered all my questions. Even late at night and off hours. Even with a new baby on the way. Install team from MD and PA was just as great very informative and even finish the install a day early.
